The+Holiday+Season+is+at+its+Highest%3A+A+Gift+Guide+for+Teenager+Girls

The trends of 2023 when dialed down to teenage girls can be confusing. Some girls at Erie High School are attracted to similar items. No need to struggle with gift ideas anymore with recommendations from Sophomores and Seniors at EHS!

Senior at Erie, Addie Osborn, shares what the top thing on her Christmas gift list is. “I want these red Nike dunks.” As shoes are trendy right now for all genders; they are helpful and fashionable gifts that most teen girls will love. Words from Osman red Nike dunks could be a shoe gift idea.

“Glossier or just like skincare in general. Definitely Charlotte Tilbury.”  Annastyn Maddox-Hernandez, a sophomore at EHS, lists out some of the trendy items right now for teen girls.

Along with shoes, skincare and makeup are trendy and will be used daily. Some girls like gifts they can use, but others can love gifts that hold memories they can look at every day.

Annastyn expresses the sentiment behind receiving homemade gifts. “I like homemade gifts because I just like seeing the creativity put into it.” Showing that:gifts don’t always have to be store-bought. Most like gifts that are from the heart and have meaning to them that will last a lifetime. Memories can be the best kind of gift for teen girls.

Kali Harbaugh, another Sophomore at EHS, itemized some gifts more on the cheaper side. “I think some best gifts under $50 are skincare, gift cards, candles, bath and body works perfume, actually really any perfume”. Some reliable brands are Victoria Secret, Drunk Elephant skincare, E.l.f. skincare, Glossier, etc.

Christmas gifts are typically known to be expensive. Most items today that teens would enjoy are not too pricey, and some just like the idea of getting materialistic items.

Along with all these recommendations for Christmas gifts, hopefully, reduce some stress with this holiday season. Although it can be hard to please teen girls nowadays, you don’t have to think too deeply about gift-giving. Some just like spending time with family and friends during the holidays.
