Colorado Cruisers: A Guide to the Best Cars for Rocky Mountain Living

Colorado Cruisers: A Guide to the Best Cars for Rocky Mountain Living

Here in Colorado we experience very different kinds of weather patterns like one day it could be sunny and 85 degrees outside then the next it’s 20 and snowing.

A good car for Colorado would be a truck with 4-wheel drive and great suspension. For example, a ram 4×4, this truck is really good because it has 4-wheel drive and is able to make it over rocks like in the mountains and it can drive better in the snow without slipping and causing accidents.

It is good to have these types of cars/trucks so that you can make it through the snow during the winter, and our beautiful Rocky Mountains. It is also nice to be able to drive in style sometimes so these cars are nice because they aren’t the ugliest cars out there.

There are a lot of other good cars out there like the Toyota highlander. Our very own freshman study hall teacher Grammy Tammy has lived in Colorado for a while now so she has gotten to experience the different kinds of cars out there and which ones she likes best and which ones she thinks works the best for Colorado’s different weather and climate. She had said in a interview that she thinks the best cars are “trucks like the dodge ram, front wheel drive, four wheel drive, things like the toyota highlander.”

These cars are great for new drivers so the can get the hang of driving in something that is safe and reliable for the 365 days of the year. These cars are also dependable and won’t always break down unlike others.

So overall in Colorado from personal experience and hearing about others experiences we can understand that some of the best cars aren’t always the most expensive and aren’t always the best appealing. But what matters is that we stay safe and keep others safe by understanding what kinds of vehicles would work the best for everyone in Colorado.
