Stranger Things was a hit Netflix original TV show, arguably one of the most successful netflix shows. It swept the nation just a year ago, and it’s about to repeat history. Season Two of Stranger Things is set to come out on October 27, 2017. This show stars young stars, such as Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Finn Wolfhard, and many other talented youth. Stranger Things is about young teens during the ‘80s that witness things that are, well, strange. It has been given reviews saying the show is “heartbreaking, exciting, and sometimes scary.” Many say that the first season of the show had elements that seemed to be inspired by Steven Spielberg. The Duffer Brothers, the creators of the show, say that if this is the case, then viewers can be expecting inspiration from James Cameron in the season to come.

The movie “It” came out on September 8 and was a huge hit. It still is talked about constantly and has certainly set the mood for Halloween. Rotten Tomatoes calls it “fiendishly frightening” and “well-acted.” This movie was a remake of the miniseries that aired 27 years ago. It is based on the novel written by Stephen King, a classic horror novelist. Many people have already seen it, and the hit movie doesn’t seem to be dying down anytime soon.

Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift is sweeping the nation. The YouTube video hit more than 19 million views on just its first day of release. It became the most viewed lyric video on YouTube in one day. Listeners on Spotify streamed the song more than 8 million times, setting a global record for the most first-day streams on any platform. The young pop star has set many records for her hit single. The rest of her album, Reputation, is set to be released on November 10th.

The iPhone X is the next biggest thing in technology right now. It has many new features never before seen in cell phone history. The new design is water-resistant and comes in two colors: space gray and silver. It has a glass back designed for using a wireless charger. It most revolutionary is that there won’t be home button any more. The new screen will be top to bottom. To reach the home screen again once in an app you flick upward. Another new feature is that instead of touch ID to unlock your phone, there is face ID. It also has dual lens cameras and a new feature called “animojis,” a combination of animations and emojis. It costs around $1,149, and is available for preorder on October 27. The phones will start shipping on November 3.
