Thor: Ragnarok is an exhilarating movie that not only brings out the humorous side of the God of thunder, but exceeds all expectations.

“Thor: Ragnarok” is an action packed, laugh out loud movie that takes the audience on a new, exciting journey within the Marvel Universe.

Asgard, home to Thor and his mischievous brother Loki, is being threatened by the goddess of the death herself, Hela. Determined To take over Asgard and return it to its previous status of righteous power, Thor and his brother must come together again to save their home and their people. But events do not go as planned, and Thor ends up on a planet known as Sakaar, run by an eccentric man known as the GrandMaster.

Upon his arrival he is kidnapped by a past Valkyrie – the fierce female warriors of Asgard – and then thrown into a gladiator fight.  He is put up against the GrandMasters undefeated opponent in exchange to be able to leave the mysterious planet. Unknown to Thor, his rival is not only a friend but a fellow avenger – the Incredible Hulk. Thor is now put in a race against time to escape from Sakaar and save Asgard from the clutches of his evil sister Hela.

“Thor: Ragnarok”  brings light to a much more humorous take on the gods, and is a unique new storyline for the trilogy. If you were bored by the seriousness of “Thor: The Dark World,” then this film will be for you as it includes many battle scenes and good comedy. But besides the gods, we see the appearance of Hulk, a great addition to the motion picture and if anything, I wish there was more of him. Not only is the movie a treat to many Mrvel fans, but also exceeds expectations for those who were not originally impressed by Thor and his powers.

The thrilling movie has already reached 752 million dollars at the box office, now surpassing “Justice League” at 315 million dollars so far. This movie is also receiving amazing reviews from critics and regular moviegoers alike. On rotten tomatoes, “Thor: Ragnarok” received a 92%, and on IMBD a 8.2/10. It is obvious that the god of thunder left a good impression on the viewers. Many viewers are even comparing the flick to the wildly popular “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Overall, “Thor: Ragnarok” is a breath of fresh air from the serious notes of its past installments and brings out new qualities in Thor we never got to see before. I recommend everybody go see this movie before it leaves the box office.
